Job Description
We are seeking a highly meticulous and detail-oriented Junior Online Proofreader to join our content quality assurance team. This 100% remote position is perfect for an entry-level professional with a keen eye for detail, a strong grasp of grammar, spelling, and punctuation, and a passion for ensuring content accuracy. You will play a crucial role in reviewing a variety of digital content, including web pages, marketing materials, social media posts, and internal communications, to uphold our commitment to excellence. Key Responsibilities
- Review and proofread a wide range of digital content for grammatical errors, spelling mistakes, punctuation issues, and factual inaccuracies.
- Ensure consistency in style, tone, and brand voice across all content, adhering to established style guides (e.g., AP, Chicago, in-house).
- Verify proper formatting, layout, and adherence to client-specific requirements.
- Collaborate with content creators, editors, and project managers to clarify inconsistencies and suggest improvements.
- Manage multiple proofreading tasks simultaneously while maintaining high standards of quality and meeting deadlines.
- Provide constructive feedback on content quality to improve overall content creation processes.
Required Skills
- Exceptional command of the English language, including grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
- Demonstrated strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to tasks.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting while maintaining productivity.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
