Job Description

Are you meticulous, detail-oriented, and looking for a stable remote work opportunity? Cognizant is seeking dedicated WFH Data Scribes to join our growing team. This is a full-time position offering 40 hours guaranteed each week, along with comprehensive medical benefits and a 401k plan. As a Data Scribe, you will play a crucial role in accurately transcribing, organizing, and maintaining various forms of data, ensuring data integrity and accessibility for our clients. Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately transcribe diverse data sets from audio recordings, handwritten notes, and scanned documents into digital formats.
  • Verify and correct data discrepancies, ensuring the highest level of accuracy and completeness.
  • Organize and categorize data according to established protocols and guidelines.
  • Maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive information at all times.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding project status and any challenges encountered.
  • Adhere to strict deadlines and quality standards for all assigned tasks.
  • Utilize various software applications and tools for data entry and management.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance data scribing skills.

Required Skills

  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficient typing speed (minimum 60 WPM) with high accuracy.
  • Strong command of the English language, both written and verbal.
  • Basic computer proficiency and comfort with various software applications (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote environment.
  • Reliable internet connection and a quiet home office setup.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to follow instructions precisely.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in data entry, transcription, or a related administrative role.
