Job Description
Are you looking for a flexible, part-time opportunity to stay active and earn money within your local community? Royal Mail is seeking dedicated and reliable Catalogue Walkers to distribute promotional materials and catalogues directly to homes in designated neighborhoods across Wolverhampton. This role is perfect for individuals who enjoy being outdoors, managing their own time, and contributing to local businesses’ reach. You will be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate delivery of materials, helping local enterprises connect with potential customers. This position offers excellent flexibility, allowing you to choose your working hours to fit around your existing commitments.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect promotional materials, leaflets, and catalogues from a designated local depot.
- Plan and execute efficient walking routes to cover assigned residential areas within Wolverhampton.
- Distribute catalogues and other marketing materials accurately and carefully to letterboxes.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and company policies while on duty.
- Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor while representing Royal Mail.
- Accurately track completed routes and report back to your supervisor as required.
Required Skills
- Ability to walk for extended periods in various weather conditions.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Good understanding of local geography or ability to learn new routes quickly.
- Ability to work independently and unsupervised.
- Attention to detail to ensure accurate delivery.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in leaflet distribution, mail delivery, or similar outdoor roles.
- Familiarity with the Wolverhampton area.
- Access to a smartphone for route tracking (optional, but beneficial).
