Job Description
Are you passionate about video games and eager to kickstart your career in IT support? Electronic Arts is looking for enthusiastic individuals to join our team as an EA Sports Technical Support I. This entry-level role is designed to provide comprehensive training and hands-on experience in technical troubleshooting, customer service, and IT operations within the exciting world of gaming. You will be the first point of contact for our players, helping them resolve technical issues, providing guidance, and ensuring they have the best possible gaming experience with EA Sports titles. Key Responsibilities
- Provide first-level technical support to EA Sports players via phone, email, and chat.
- Diagnose and resolve common technical issues related to game installation, connectivity, in-game bugs, and account management.
- Escalate complex issues to senior technical support specialists or other internal teams as needed.
- Document all player interactions and resolutions accurately in our CRM system.
- Guide players through troubleshooting steps and provide clear, concise instructions.
- Stay up-to-date with EA Sports game titles, platform changes, and technical support best practices.
- Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction through professional and empathetic communication.
Required Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong passion for video games, especially EA Sports titles.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Basic understanding of computer hardware, software, and operating systems (Windows, macOS).
- Ability to learn new technologies and troubleshooting techniques quickly.
- Customer-focused mindset with a desire to help others.
