Job Description
Are you an energetic and reliable individual looking for immediate work in Renmark? Coles Supermarkets is seeking enthusiastic Warehouse Labourers to join our dedicated team. This is a fantastic opportunity for backpackers and those looking for a temporary role with consistent weekly pay. You’ll play a crucial role in ensuring our products are processed efficiently and accurately, contributing to our mission of delivering fresh produce and goods to our customers. Key Responsibilities
- Loading and unloading goods from trucks and containers safely and efficiently.
- Sorting and stacking products in designated warehouse areas.
- Accurately picking and packing orders for dispatch.
- Operating basic warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and trolleys.
- Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe work environment.
- Adhering strictly to all safety protocols and company policies.
- Assisting with inventory counts and quality control checks as required.
Required Skills
- Physical fitness and ability to lift heavy objects (up to 20kg) repeatedly.
- Reliable, punctual, and possess a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work effectively and collaboratively within a team.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations or a strong willingness to learn.
- Valid right to work in Australia (e.g., Working Holiday Visa).
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse, factory, or similar physical labour role.
- Experience operating a forklift (current license preferred, but not essential for all roles).
- Familiarity with scanning systems or inventory management.
