Job Description
Are you an enthusiastic individual looking for a dynamic role with weekly pay? McDonald’s Sheffield City Centre is looking for friendly and efficient Fast Food Cashiers to join our bustling team. As a Fast Food Cashier, you will be the face of our restaurant, providing exceptional customer service, accurately taking orders, processing payments, and ensuring every customer leaves with a smile. Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and take food and drink orders accurately.
- Process cash, credit, and debit card transactions using the POS system.
- Handle cash and maintain an accurate cash drawer.
- Assist customers with menu choices and answer any questions.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the cashier station and dining area.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
- Resolve customer complaints or issues politely and efficiently.
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
Required Skills
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle cash and process transactions accurately.
- Strong customer service orientation.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and high-volume environment.
- Punctual, reliable, and a team player.
- Basic math skills.
