Job Description

As a Second Chance Warehouse Associate, you will play a crucial role in our fulfillment center operations. This entry-level position involves a variety of tasks related to receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping products to customers. You will work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, contributing to the efficient flow of goods and ensuring customer satisfaction. We provide comprehensive training to equip you with all the necessary skills for success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive and process incoming shipments, verifying contents against invoices.
  • Accurately pick and pack customer orders using handheld scanners and other equipment.
  • Prepare items for shipping, including labeling, weighing, and palletizing.
  • Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to organizational standards.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety guidelines and procedures.
  • Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks (training provided).
  • Perform inventory counts and assist with cycle counting as needed.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve daily productivity and quality goals.

Required Skills

  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and carry items weighing up to 50 lbs for extended periods.
  • Basic understanding of safety procedures and willingness to follow all company policies.
  • Strong work ethic and reliability.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Basic communication skills.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Successful completion of a background check, considering our felon-friendly policies.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a warehouse or fulfillment center environment is a plus, but not required.
  • Experience operating forklifts or other powered industrial trucks is beneficial.
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
