Are you a master of understanding public sentiment, skilled in extracting meaningful insights from vast datasets? Concentrix is seeking a dedicated and insightful Sentiment Guru with a strong focus on market research to join our dynamic team. This is a 100% remote position, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere in Canada while contributing to impactful global projects. As a Sentiment Guru, you will be instrumental in analyzing customer feedback, social media conversations, and other textual data to identify trends, emotions, and opinions that drive consumer behavior. Your expertise will directly influence strategic decision-making for our diverse portfolio of clients across various industries. Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and implementation of sentiment analysis models and methodologies.
- Analyze large volumes of unstructured text data from various sources (social media, surveys, reviews, call transcripts) to identify sentiment, themes, and emerging trends.
- Translate complex data findings into clear, actionable insights and recommendations for market research and business strategy.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, researchers, and client services, to integrate sentiment insights into broader research initiatives.
- Monitor and report on brand perception, competitive landscape, and industry-specific sentiment shifts.
- Develop and refine sentiment lexicons and rule-based systems specific to client needs and industry nuances.
- Present findings and strategic recommendations to internal stakeholders and clients effectively.
- Stay abreast of the latest advancements in natural language processing (NLP), machine learning, and sentiment analysis tools and techniques.
Required Skills
- Proven expertise in sentiment analysis, text mining, and natural language processing (NLP).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and draw actionable conclusions.
- Proficiency with sentiment analysis software and tools (e.g., Brandwatch, Sprinklr, Qualtrics, Python NLTK/SpaCy, R).
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of conveying technical information to non-technical audiences.
- Demonstrated experience in market research methodologies and consumer insights.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, remote environment.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Linguistics, Marketing, or a related quantitative field.
- Experience with large-scale data platforms and cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Familiarity with statistical modeling and machine learning techniques for predictive analysis.
- Knowledge of multiple languages is a plus.
- Previous experience in a consulting or agency environment.
