Job Description
Are you a talented copywriter with a passion for SEO and a deep understanding of Google’s algorithms? Gartner is seeking a skilled Online Copywriter to join our dynamic content team. In this role, you will be responsible for crafting compelling, high-quality blog posts and other SEO-optimized content that drives organic traffic, engages our target audience of business leaders, and enhances our online visibility. You will translate complex industry insights into clear, concise, and engaging narratives, ensuring our content resonates with both search engines and human readers. This is a 100% remote position, offering flexibility and the opportunity to work from anywhere within the United States.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and write engaging, SEO-optimized blog posts, articles, and web content aligned with Gartner's content strategy and brand voice.
- Conduct thorough keyword research and competitive analysis to identify content opportunities and inform content creation.
- Optimize existing content for search engines, improving rankings and organic traffic performance.
- Collaborate closely with SEO specialists, content strategists, and subject matter experts to ensure content accuracy and effectiveness.
- Monitor and analyze content performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest SEO trends, Google algorithm updates, and best practices in content marketing.
- Ensure all content adheres to brand guidelines, style guides, and editorial standards.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as an online copywriter with a strong portfolio showcasing SEO-optimized content.
- Demonstrable understanding of SEO principles, keyword research, and Google Analytics.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with an impeccable grasp of English grammar and style.
- Ability to translate complex technical or business concepts into clear, engaging, and accessible content.
- Experience with content management systems (e.g., WordPress).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in using SEO tools (e.g., Semrush, Ahrefs, Google Search Console).
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Journalism, Communications, English, or a related field.
- Experience working in a B2B environment, preferably within tech, research, or advisory services.
- Familiarity with Gartner's research domains and client base.
- Certification in Google Analytics or Google Ads.
