Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced AI Technical Writer to join our dynamic team in Aurora, Colorado. This role is crucial for bridging the gap between complex AI and machine learning concepts and our global audience of developers, researchers, and enterprise customers. You will be responsible for creating, maintaining, and improving comprehensive documentation for NVIDIA’s cutting-edge AI software, APIs, SDKs, and platforms. This is a high-impact role requiring a blend of strong technical acumen, exceptional writing skills, and a deep understanding of artificial intelligence technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain high-quality technical documentation, including API references, SDK guides, user manuals, tutorials, and release notes for NVIDIA's AI products.
- Collaborate closely with AI engineers, product managers, and research scientists to understand complex technical concepts and translate them into clear, concise, and accurate documentation.
- Design and implement documentation strategies that align with product development cycles and user needs.
- Ensure consistency in terminology, style, and tone across all documentation.
- Contribute to the improvement of documentation tools, processes, and standards.
- Act as a subject matter expert for documentation, providing guidance and support to internal teams and external users.
- Gather feedback from users and internal stakeholders to continuously improve documentation quality and usability.
Required Skills
- 5+ years of experience as a technical writer in a software or technology company, with a focus on AI/ML.
- Demonstrated ability to write clear, concise, and accurate technical documentation for complex software and hardware.
- Strong understanding of AI, machine learning, deep learning concepts, and related technologies (e.g., neural networks, natural language processing, computer vision).
- Proficiency with documentation tools and platforms (e.g., Markdown, reStructuredText, Sphinx, Confluence, Git, GitHub).
- Experience documenting APIs, SDKs, and developer-centric tools.
- Excellent command of English grammar, style, and vocabulary.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, agile environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Technical Communication, or a related field.
- Experience with NVIDIA's AI platforms and technologies (e.g., CUDA, cuDNN, TensorRT, Clara, Isaac).
- Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines for documentation.
- Portfolio of technical writing samples demonstrating expertise in AI/ML documentation.
