Job Description
Are you a night owl looking for a dynamic role with an immediate start and premium pay? Pick ‘n Save in Milwaukee is seeking a dedicated Supermarket Night Replenishment Assistant to join our overnight team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for ensuring our shelves are fully stocked and impeccably organized for our morning customers. This is a fast-paced position requiring attention to detail, physical stamina, and a strong work ethic. Key Responsibilities
- Efficiently unload delivery trucks and stock shelves, coolers, and freezers with new merchandise.
- Organize and rotate products to ensure proper inventory management and minimize waste.
- Verify product freshness and remove expired or damaged items.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment throughout the store aisles and backroom.
- Operate pallet jacks, hand trucks, and other equipment safely and effectively (training provided).
- Assist with inventory counts and report discrepancies as needed.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure all tasks are completed efficiently before opening hours.
Required Skills
- Ability to work overnight shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) regularly.
- Capability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.
- Basic understanding of inventory rotation (FIFO) principles.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment as well as independently.
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Previous experience in a retail, grocery, or warehouse environment.
- Experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, or other material handling equipment.
