Job Description
We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and motivated individual to join our team as a Travel Destination Data Annotator. In this 100% remote online role, you will play a crucial part in enhancing the accuracy and richness of our travel destination data, directly impacting navigation, mapping, and travel planning experiences globally. You will be responsible for meticulously reviewing, verifying, and annotating geographical information related to points of interest, tourist attractions, hotels, restaurants, and other travel-related entities using our proprietary tools. This role requires exceptional attention to detail, strong research skills, and a passion for travel and data integrity.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately annotate and categorize travel destination data, including points of interest (POIs), geographical features, and relevant attributes.
- Conduct thorough online research to verify the accuracy and completeness of existing data and identify new data points.
- Utilize internal tools and guidelines to ensure consistent and high-quality data entry and annotation.
- Identify and report discrepancies, errors, or ambiguities in data to improve overall data quality.
- Provide constructive feedback on annotation guidelines and tool functionality to enhance efficiency.
- Meet daily and weekly production targets while maintaining a high standard of data accuracy.
Required Skills

- Strong research and analytical skills with the ability to quickly gather and synthesize information from various sources.
- Proficiency with computers, web browsers, and online research tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in data annotation, data entry, or quality assurance.
- Familiarity with geographic information systems (GIS) or mapping software.
- Experience living in or extensive knowledge of various travel destinations.
- Ability to understand and interpret data in multiple languages (though primary work is in English).
