No prior tech degree or extensive experience is required – we’re looking for your enthusiasm, your meticulousness, and your love for the Star Wars universe!

In this exciting full-time role based in our vibrant Milwaukee studio, you’ll be on the front lines, helping to ensure the highest quality for upcoming Star Wars Jedi titles. If you have a deep understanding of game mechanics, a knack for spotting inconsistencies, and a desire to shape the future of Star Wars gaming, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute detailed test plans and checklists to identify bugs, glitches, and other issues in gameplay, graphics, audio, and user interface.
  • Thoroughly document all defects using our bug tracking software, including clear reproduction steps, screenshots, and video captures.
  • Provide constructive and actionable feedback on game design, usability, and overall player experience.
  • Collaborate closely with developers, designers, and other QA team members to communicate findings and verify fixes.
  • Participate in daily stand-ups and team meetings to discuss progress, issues, and upcoming tasks.
  • Stay up-to-date with current Star Wars lore, game trends, and industry best practices in quality assurance.
  • Perform regression testing to ensure previously identified bugs remain fixed and new issues haven't been introduced.

Required Skills

  • An undeniable passion for the Star Wars universe and its gaming adaptations.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a keen eye for inconsistencies or anomalies.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to clearly articulate bugs and feedback.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and a methodical approach to task execution.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Proficiency with various gaming platforms (PC, PlayStation, Xbox, etc.) and game genres.
  • Patience and persistence in performing repetitive tasks while maintaining focus.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience with game testing, quality assurance, or customer support roles (even volunteer or informal).
  • Familiarity with bug tracking software (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla).
  • A basic understanding of game development pipelines and methodologies.
  • Experience playing previous titles in the Star Wars Jedi series.
  • A competitive drive and a desire to push games to their limits.

Perks & Benefits

  • Competitive annual salary.
  • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance plans.
  • Paid time off, including vacation, sick leave, and company holidays.
  • 401(k) retirement plan with company match.
  • Access to a robust library of EA games, including upcoming titles.
  • Opportunities for career growth and professional development within the gaming industry.
  • A vibrant, creative, and casual work environment where passion for gaming is celebrated.
