Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and organized High School Customer Liaison with a distinct focus on non-phone communication channels. This role is crucial for ensuring effective communication and support for students, parents, and faculty, primarily through in-person interactions, email, and digital platforms. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem-solver with excellent interpersonal skills and a commitment to serving our school community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Facilitate communication between high school administration, students, parents, and community members through non-phone channels (in-person, email, digital messaging).
  • Respond to inquiries and provide information regarding school policies, events, and resources.
  • Assist in resolving student and parent concerns, directing complex issues to appropriate staff members.
  • Maintain accurate records of interactions and communications.
  • Support the planning and execution of school events and community engagement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with various school departments to ensure a cohesive and supportive environment.
  • Provide general administrative support as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with all school district policies and procedures.

Required Skills

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills (excluding phone calls for this specific role).
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building abilities.
  • Proficiency in using digital communication tools and office software (e.g., Google Workspace, Microsoft Office).
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Demonstrated empathy and patience when interacting with diverse groups.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate's degree or higher in Communications, Education, Public Relations, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in an educational setting or customer service role.
  • Familiarity with student information systems (SIS).
  • Bilingual proficiency (especially Spanish) is a plus.
