Key Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome all customers with a friendly and positive attitude.
- Assist customers in selecting products based on their needs and preferences, guided by senior staff.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting dispensary environment, including shelving, display cases, and common areas.
- Assist with inventory management tasks, including receiving, stocking, and organizing products.
- Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems for basic transactions under supervision.
- Ensure compliance with all state and local cannabis regulations, including ID verification and purchase limits.
- Provide accurate and up-to-date information on products, promotions, and industry news as trained.
- Handle cash and card transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Support the dispensary team with various operational tasks as needed.
- Attend ongoing training sessions to expand product knowledge and industry expertise.
Required Skills
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong work ethic and a proactive attitude.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Basic mathematical skills for handling transactions.
- Reliable and punctual attendance.
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced industry.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous customer service or retail experience (any industry).
- General understanding or personal interest in cannabis products and culture.
- Cash handling experience.
- Bilingual skills (Spanish/English) are a plus.
