Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate IV Hydration Nurse to join our dynamic team at Restore Hyper Wellness in The Woodlands. As an IV Hydration Nurse, you will be instrumental in delivering exceptional client care through the administration of intravenous vitamin and hydration therapies. This role requires a strong clinical background, excellent venipuncture skills, and a passion for health and wellness. You will educate clients on the benefits of our services, ensure a safe and comfortable experience, and contribute to a positive and energetic wellness lounge atmosphere. This position offers not only competitive pay but also opportunities to earn additional income through tips and commission based on service delivery and product sales.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform client consultations and assessments to determine appropriate IV hydration and vitamin therapy protocols.
- Administer IV drips safely and efficiently, ensuring proper venipuncture techniques and sterile procedures.
- Monitor clients during and after treatments, identifying and addressing any adverse reactions.
- Educate clients on the benefits of IV therapies, other Restore services, and wellness products.
- Maintain accurate and confidential client records in compliance with HIPAA and company policies.
- Ensure cleanliness and sterilization of the treatment area and equipment.
- Manage IV inventory, order supplies, and maintain stock levels.
- Collaborate with other wellness team members to provide a seamless client experience.
- Adhere to all local, state, and federal nursing regulations and company protocols.
- Actively participate in ongoing training and professional development.
- Assist in sales of wellness services and retail products, contributing to commission earnings.
Required Skills
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Texas.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in an acute care setting, emergency room, or IV therapy clinic.
- Proficient and confident in venipuncture techniques and IV insertion.
- Strong understanding of aseptic technique and infection control.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Customer service-oriented with a positive and energetic attitude.
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree.
- Experience in a medical spa, aesthetic clinic, or wellness center.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Sales experience in a healthcare or wellness setting.
- Knowledge of various vitamin and nutrient therapies.
