Job Description
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Part-time In-Home Respite Caregiver to join our team in Visalia, CA. This role offers a flexible weekend roster, perfect for individuals looking for meaningful part-time work that makes a real difference. As a Respite Caregiver, you will provide temporary relief to primary caregivers, ensuring their loved ones receive high-quality care, companionship, and support during their absence. Your duties will involve assisting clients with daily activities, providing emotional support, and engaging in stimulating activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Assist with light housekeeping tasks, meal preparation, and medication reminders.
- Offer companionship and engage clients in stimulating activities such as reading, games, or light exercise.
- Ensure a safe and comfortable environment for the client.
- Communicate effectively with primary caregivers and Comfort Keepers staff regarding client status and needs.
- Maintain client confidentiality and adhere to all company policies and procedures.
- Document care provided accurately and timely.
