Job Description
Are you a highly motivated and certified fitness professional with a passion for helping others achieve their health and wellness goals? Peloton is looking for an enthusiastic Remote Online Fitness Coach to train clients via video. This is a unique opportunity to leverage your expertise in a flexible, 100% remote environment, reaching a diverse client base from the comfort of your own space. You will be responsible for designing and delivering personalized fitness programs, providing expert guidance, and fostering a supportive and motivating online community.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct engaging and effective one-on-one or group fitness sessions remotely via video conferencing platforms.
- Develop personalized exercise programs and nutrition guidance tailored to individual client needs, goals, and fitness levels.
- Monitor client progress, provide constructive feedback, and adjust programs as necessary to ensure continuous improvement.
- Maintain clear and consistent communication with clients, offering encouragement and support to foster long-term adherence.
- Educate clients on proper form, exercise techniques, and healthy lifestyle choices.
- Utilize Peloton's tools and resources to track client data, manage schedules, and deliver high-quality coaching.
- Stay current with fitness industry trends, research, and best practices to continually enhance coaching skills.
- Promote a positive, inclusive, and motivating online fitness environment.
Required Skills
- Nationally recognized Certified Personal Trainer (CPT) certification (e.g., ACE, NASM, ACSM, NSCA).
- Proven experience in personal training or group fitness instruction.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate complex information clearly.
- Proficiency in using video conferencing software (e.g., Zoom, Google Meet) and online scheduling tools.
- Strong understanding of exercise physiology, anatomy, and nutrition principles.
- Ability to create engaging and dynamic workout experiences remotely.
- Self-motivated, highly organized, and disciplined with excellent time management skills.
- Reliable internet connection and appropriate home setup for video coaching.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, Health Promotion, or a related field.
- Additional certifications in specialized areas (e.g., Strength & Conditioning, Corrective Exercise, Group Fitness).
- Experience with online fitness coaching platforms or virtual training.
- First Aid and CPR/AED certification.
- Proven track record of client retention and success stories.
