Job Description
Join Everyone Active as a Ski Resort Lift Operator for our exciting winter season! This full-time, seasonal role is perfect for individuals passionate about snow sports, customer service, and ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for all guests. You will be a crucial part of our operations, primarily responsible for the safe and efficient operation of ski lifts, assisting guests, and maintaining a high standard of safety and service on our slopes, whether natural, dry, or indoor. Enjoy the perk of a complimentary lift pass for the season! This is an on-site position.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate ski lifts (t-bars, button lifts, or similar) safely and efficiently, following all company procedures.
- Monitor lift lines and guest loading/unloading zones to ensure smooth flow and assist guests as needed.
- Perform daily pre-opening and ongoing safety checks on lift equipment and surrounding areas.
- Respond to guest inquiries, provide directions, and offer assistance with a friendly and helpful attitude.
- Maintain cleanliness and order around lift areas, including light snow removal or surface maintenance.
- Enforce safety rules and regulations to prevent accidents and ensure guest well-being.
- Communicate effectively with other team members, including patrollers and supervisors, regarding operational status and safety concerns.
- Assist with opening and closing procedures for lift operations each day.
Required Skills
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety protocols diligently.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions, including cold temperatures (or in controlled indoor environments).
- Physical stamina and ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 25kg, and perform repetitive tasks.
- Reliable and punctual, with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a customer service role, particularly in a recreational or outdoor setting.
- Basic mechanical aptitude or experience with equipment operation.
- First Aid certification is a plus.
- Enthusiasm for winter sports or leisure activities.
