Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Actively research and identify emerging artists, bands, and producers across various genres in the local and regional music scenes.
  • Attend live performances, showcases, open mic nights, and other music industry events to scout new talent.
  • Network extensively with artists, managers, promoters, and other industry professionals to build a robust talent pipeline.
  • Utilize digital platforms, social media, and online music communities to discover unsigned artists and track buzzworthy acts.
  • Prepare comprehensive talent reports, including artist profiles, performance analyses, and market potential assessments.
  • Present findings and recommendations to the A&R team during regular meetings.
  • Assist the A&R team with administrative tasks related to artist outreach and development.
  • Stay informed about current music trends, industry shifts, and competitive landscape.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships within the local music community.

  • Bachelor's degree in Music Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
