Job Description
We are seeking an enthusiastic and reliable Catering Assistant to join our dedicated team at one of our schools in Castleford. This is an entry-level, part-time position, working term-time only. If you’re looking to start a career in catering, enjoy working in a dynamic environment, and are passionate about providing excellent service, we encourage you to apply. Full training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the preparation and serving of meals and snacks to students and staff.
- Maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness in the kitchen and dining areas.
- Wash dishes, cutlery, and cooking utensils.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
- Restock supplies and assist with inventory management.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations.
- Provide excellent customer service to students and staff.
- Support the catering team in all daily operations.

Preferred Qualifications
- Basic food hygiene certificate (training can be provided).
