Job Description

Are you passionate about helping others and have excellent communication skills? CVS Health is looking for a dedicated Pharmacy Call Center Representative to join our team in Elk Grove, CA. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our pharmacy customers, providing exceptional support exclusively through chat-based interactions. This is a non-dispensing role, focusing entirely on assisting customers with inquiries, scheduling, and general information, ensuring a smooth and positive experience without handling medication directly. You will use your problem-solving abilities and empathy to resolve issues efficiently and maintain high standards of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage with pharmacy customers via chat to answer questions, provide information, and resolve issues related to prescriptions, services, and general inquiries.
  • Document all customer interactions accurately and thoroughly in the designated system.
  • Escalate complex issues to appropriate departments when necessary, ensuring seamless handoffs.
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism, empathy, and customer service in all interactions.
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements, including HIPAA guidelines.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and continuous improvement in service delivery.

Required Skills

  • Excellent written communication and typing skills.
  • Strong active listening and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to navigate multiple computer systems simultaneously.
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Proficiency in English.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a call center or customer service environment.
  • Familiarity with medical or pharmacy terminology.
  • Experience with chat support platforms.
  • Associate's degree or higher.
  • Bilingual skills (especially Spanish).
