Job Description
CrowdStrike is seeking a highly motivated and curious Junior Cybersecurity Analyst with a passion for Artificial Intelligence to join our dynamic team. This is a 100% remote position, open to candidates across the USA. In this role, you will play a crucial part in protecting our digital assets and customers from evolving cyber threats, with a specific focus on leveraging AI-driven security tools and techniques. You will work alongside experienced professionals, gaining hands-on experience in threat detection, incident response, vulnerability management, and the application of AI in cybersecurity.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts and incidents using various security tools, including those powered by AI.
- Assist in the analysis and investigation of potential cyber threats and vulnerabilities.
- Support incident response activities, including containment, eradication, and recovery.
- Utilize and learn AI/ML-driven security platforms to enhance threat detection and analysis capabilities.
- Contribute to the development and improvement of security processes and documentation.
- Stay current with emerging cybersecurity trends, AI advancements, and threat landscapes.
- Collaborate with senior analysts and engineers to implement security best practices.
Required Skills
- Basic understanding of cybersecurity principles, network protocols, and operating systems.
- Demonstrated interest in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning concepts.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team.
- Familiarity with at least one scripting language (e.g., Python) is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Relevant cybersecurity certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, CySA+, Google Cybersecurity Certificate).
- Exposure to cloud security concepts (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Experience with Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) tools.
- Familiarity with endpoint detection and response (EDR) platforms.
