Job Description
Are you ready to blend, serve, and smile? Smoothie King in Bloomington is looking for enthusiastic and motivated individuals to join our team as a Smoothie Barista. No prior experience? No problem! We offer comprehensive training to turn you into a smoothie-making pro. If you have a positive attitude, a passion for customer service, and want to be part of a fun, supportive team culture, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare delicious, custom-blended smoothies according to Smoothie King's precise recipes and standards.
- Provide exceptional customer service, greeting every guest with a warm welcome and assisting them with menu choices.
- Operate the cash register accurately, handling transactions and maintaining cash drawer accountability.
- Maintain a sparkling clean and organized work environment, including blending station, customer seating areas, and restrooms.
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure the highest quality and safety for our products.
- Educate customers on the nutritional benefits of our smoothies and promote current specials and loyalty programs.
- Collaborate with team members to foster a positive, energetic, and efficient store atmosphere.
Required Skills
- Ability to learn quickly in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
- A genuine positive attitude and a passion for providing outstanding customer service.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods, bend, reach, and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Basic mathematical skills for cash handling and order accuracy.
- No prior barista or food service experience required; full training will be provided.
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a customer service or retail environment is a plus, but not mandatory.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- A personal interest in health, wellness, and nutrition.
