Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver food orders and other goods to customers within the designated delivery zone.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while operating your bicycle.
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude when interacting with customers and restaurant staff.
- Manage delivery times effectively to ensure timely arrivals.
- Utilize the DoorDash app for order management, navigation, and communication.
- Ensure the accuracy and quality of delivered items.
- Represent DoorDash with a high level of professionalism and customer service.
Required Skills
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Own a reliable bicycle and smartphone.
- Ability to read and understand navigation apps.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must have a valid driver's license (or state ID) and proof of insurance (if applicable for other vehicles, though a bike is primary).
- Consent to a background check.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in delivery or customer service roles.
- Familiarity with the New Port Richey area and surrounding neighborhoods.
