Job Description

As a Junior Logistics Planner at Amazon, you will play a crucial role in supporting the optimization and execution of our vast supply chain operations. This entry-level position is perfect for an ambitious individual with a foundational understanding of logistics and a passion for technology. You will assist in analyzing data, coordinating shipments, and identifying areas for process improvement to ensure the smooth flow of goods. Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the planning and coordination of domestic and international shipments.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with warehouse teams to ensure product availability.
  • Track and report on key logistics metrics, identifying trends and potential issues.
  • Communicate effectively with carriers, suppliers, and internal departments to resolve operational challenges.
  • Support the development and implementation of logistics strategies to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to logistics operations.
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives and special projects as assigned.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (data analysis, pivot tables).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Basic understanding of supply chain principles and logistics operations.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with logistics software or ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
  • Internship or previous work experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain.
