Job Description
As a Junior Logistics Planner at Amazon, you will play a crucial role in supporting the optimization and execution of our vast supply chain operations. This entry-level position is perfect for an ambitious individual with a foundational understanding of logistics and a passion for technology. You will assist in analyzing data, coordinating shipments, and identifying areas for process improvement to ensure the smooth flow of goods. This is an on-site role based in our Wesley Chapel facility, offering a dynamic environment where you can learn and grow within a world-class logistics team.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the planning and coordination of domestic and international shipments.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with warehouse teams to ensure product availability.
- Track and report on key logistics metrics, identifying trends and potential issues.
- Communicate effectively with carriers, suppliers, and internal departments to resolve operational challenges.
- Support the development and implementation of logistics strategies to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to logistics operations.
- Participate in process improvement initiatives and special projects as assigned.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (data analysis, pivot tables).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Basic understanding of supply chain principles and logistics operations.
Preferred Qualifications

- Internship or previous work experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain.
