Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated Junior Software Engineer with a passion for Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning to join our innovative technology team in Warwick, RI. Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the design, development, testing, and deployment of AI/ML models and software solutions.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code in Python or Java/Scala.
- Collaborate with senior engineers and data scientists to understand requirements and implement solutions.
- Participate in code reviews, contribute to technical discussions, and help maintain code quality standards.
- Learn and apply best practices for software development, MLOps, and cloud platforms.
- Troubleshoot and debug issues in existing AI/ML pipelines and applications.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends in AI/ML to continuously improve our systems.
Required Skills
- Solid understanding of computer science fundamentals, data structures, and algorithms.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Java, Scala).
- Basic understanding of machine learning concepts, algorithms, and models.
- Familiarity with data manipulation and analysis libraries (e.g., Pandas, NumPy).
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Strong problem-solving abilities and eagerness to learn new technologies.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, or a related technical field.
