Job Description
Are you passionate about travel and possess a knack for meticulous planning and client satisfaction? Expedia Group is seeking a dedicated Virtual Travel Itinerary Planner to join our dynamic team. In this 100% remote role, you will leverage your expertise to craft personalized and unforgettable travel experiences for our diverse clientele. From exotic getaways to business trips, you will be the architect of dream journeys, ensuring every detail aligns with our clients’ visions and expectations. This position requires excellent communication, organizational skills, and a genuine desire to create extraordinary travel memories.
Key Responsibilities
- Consult with clients virtually to understand their travel preferences, budget, and specific requirements.
- Research and recommend destinations, accommodations, transportation, and activities tailored to client needs.
- Design comprehensive and detailed travel itineraries, including flights, hotels, car rentals, tours, and dining reservations.
- Provide expert advice on travel regulations, visa requirements, and local customs for various destinations.
- Manage client bookings and modifications, ensuring accuracy and timely communication.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external travel partners to secure the best deals and experiences.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of travel trends, industry changes, and emerging destinations.
- Resolve any travel-related issues or emergencies promptly and professionally.
