Job Description

Join the Wickes team as a Wooden Garden Shed Assembler, where you will be responsible for the precise and efficient assembly of various wooden garden sheds and outdoor structures. This role requires excellent manual dexterity, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work effectively outdoors in various weather conditions. You will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality products to our customers, ensuring their outdoor projects come to life.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assemble wooden garden sheds and other outdoor timber structures according to specifications and safety guidelines.
  • Read and interpret assembly instructions, blueprints, and diagrams.
  • Utilize hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
  • Inspect components for quality and report any defects or missing parts.
  • Ensure all assembled products meet quality standards before dispatch.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Adhere to all health and safety regulations.
  • Assist with the unloading and organization of timber components as needed.

Required Skills

  • Proven manual dexterity and ability to use various hand and power tools.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to follow instructions precisely.
  • Good physical fitness, capable of lifting, carrying, and standing for extended periods.
  • Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
