Job Description
Join the Wickes team as a Wooden Garden Shed Assembler, where you will be responsible for the precise and efficient assembly of various wooden garden sheds and outdoor structures. This role requires excellent manual dexterity, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work effectively outdoors in various weather conditions. You will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality products to our customers, ensuring their outdoor projects come to life.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble wooden garden sheds and other outdoor timber structures according to specifications and safety guidelines.
- Read and interpret assembly instructions, blueprints, and diagrams.
- Utilize hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
- Inspect components for quality and report any defects or missing parts.
- Ensure all assembled products meet quality standards before dispatch.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations.
- Assist with the unloading and organization of timber components as needed.
Required Skills
- Proven manual dexterity and ability to use various hand and power tools.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
