Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented WFH Software Tester to join our dynamic team, focusing specifically on critical Google-affiliated projects. In this fully remote role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the quality and reliability of software applications, working closely with development teams to identify, document, and track bugs. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to high-impact projects and further develop your QA expertise within a leading global consultancy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for software applications primarily related to Google projects.
  • Identify, document, and track software defects and inconsistencies using various bug tracking tools.
  • Perform functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing.
  • Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other QA engineers in an Agile environment.
  • Provide clear, concise, and timely feedback on product quality and test results.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes and methodologies.
  • Participate in daily stand-ups and sprint reviews, offering insights from a testing perspective.

Required Skills

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in software testing or quality assurance.
  • Proven experience with bug tracking systems (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla).
  • Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies.
  • Ability to create clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in English.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working on projects involving Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or other Google technologies.
  • Familiarity with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Playwright).
  • Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript).
  • ISTQB certification or equivalent.
  • Experience in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
