Goodwill Industries International is seeking a dedicated WFH Gateway Mentor to join our remote team. In this pivotal role, you will provide personalized guidance and support to individuals transitioning to new phases of life, whether it’s re-entering the workforce, changing careers, or adapting to new personal circumstances. Key Responsibilities
- Provide one-on-one virtual mentorship and coaching to program participants navigating life transitions.
- Develop personalized action plans tailored to each individual’s unique goals and circumstances.
- Offer guidance on resume writing, interview preparation, job search strategies, and skill development.
- Connect participants with relevant community resources, training programs, and employment opportunities.
- Monitor participant progress, provide encouragement, and adjust mentorship strategies as needed.
- Facilitate virtual workshops and group sessions on topics related to career development and life skills.
- Maintain accurate and confidential records of participant interactions and progress.
- Collaborate with a remote team of mentors and program coordinators to share best practices and ensure cohesive support.
- Stay informed about current employment trends and available resources in various industries.
Required Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong empathy, patience, and active listening abilities.
- Proficiency in using virtual communication tools (e.g., video conferencing, instant messaging).
- Ability to motivate, inspire, and empower individuals.

Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, Human Resources, or a related field.

- Knowledge of local community resources in Oklahoma.
