Job Description
EventWorks is seeking talented and professional Wedding Musicians to join our network of elite contractors for weekend events in Mobile, Alabama, and surrounding areas. This is an exciting opportunity for skilled musicians looking for high-paying, flexible weekend work, contributing to the magic of wedding celebrations. We are looking for individuals who can provide exceptional musical performances, bringing elegance and joy to a couple’s special day.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform musical selections as requested by clients for wedding ceremonies, receptions, and cocktail hours.
- Liaise with wedding planners or clients to finalize musical programs and logistics.
- Arrive punctually and prepared with all necessary instruments and equipment.
- Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
- Ensure high-quality sound and performance during all scheduled engagements.
- Be adaptable to last-minute changes or requests.
- Provide own transportation to and from event venues.
Required Skills
- Demonstrated mastery of at least one musical instrument (e.g., piano, guitar, violin, cello, harp) or vocal performance.
- Extensive repertoire of wedding-appropriate music across various genres (classical, contemporary, jazz, etc.).
- Proven ability to perform solo or as part of a small ensemble.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliability and punctuality.
- Access to high-quality, well-maintained instruments and sound equipment (if applicable).
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience performing at multiple weddings or special events.
- Ability to learn new musical pieces quickly upon request.
- A portfolio or demo reel of past performances.
- Flexibility to accommodate various event schedules on weekends.
