Job Description
As a Warehouse Specialist at Amazon, you will play a crucial role in our fulfillment network, ensuring that products are received, stored, and shipped efficiently. You will work in a fast-paced environment, contributing to the seamless flow of goods that reach our customers. This position requires attention to detail, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team. Key Responsibilities
- Receive and process incoming shipments, verifying contents against packing lists.
- Efficiently and accurately pick and pack customer orders.
- Load and unload trucks using manual or powered equipment (training provided).
- Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, or product code.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Operate scanning equipment to track inventory and update records.
- Perform quality checks on products to ensure they meet Amazon standards.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily productivity goals.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift up to 49 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods.
- Basic computer navigation skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Reliable transportation to and from the warehouse facility.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment.
- Experience operating material handling equipment (e.g., forklift, pallet jack).
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work schedules.
