Job Description

Key Responsibilities
- Perform accurate and timely cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
- Maintain organized warehouse layout, ensuring products are stored efficiently and safely.
- Operate various warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks, reach trucks) safely and efficiently, once certified.
- Generate and analyze inventory reports to identify trends, opportunities, and potential issues.
- Collaborate closely with inbound, outbound, and quality assurance teams to optimize inventory flow and processes.
- Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols and quality standards at all times.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance inventory accuracy and operational efficiency.
- Train and mentor junior team members on best practices for inventory management.
Required Skills
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Proficiency with basic computer operations and ability to learn new inventory management systems quickly.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 49 pounds, standing, walking, bending, and reaching for extended periods.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fostering a collaborative team environment.
- Proven problem-solving aptitude and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Basic mathematical skills for counting, adding, and subtracting inventory.
Preferred Qualifications
- 1+ year of experience in a warehouse, logistics, or inventory control role.
- Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) such as Amazon's proprietary software.
- Valid forklift certification or ability to obtain one upon hire.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Aptitude for learning new technologies and adapting to process changes.
