Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Public Sector Data Entry Processor to join our team in Long Island City, NY. This is an immediate start, full-time on-site position. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately entering and maintaining critical data for various public sector projects. Your work will directly support government operations, ensuring the integrity and accessibility of vital information. This role requires exceptional attention to detail, a high degree of accuracy, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform high-volume data entry from various source documents into designated databases and systems with precision and speed.
  • Verify data for accuracy, completeness, and consistency, identifying and correcting errors as needed.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality and security of sensitive public sector information.
  • Organize and maintain physical and electronic files, ensuring easy retrieval of information.
  • Generate routine reports and summaries based on entered data.
  • Adhere to established data entry procedures, guidelines, and compliance standards.
  • Communicate effectively with team members to resolve data discrepancies or issues.

Required Skills

  • Minimum typing speed of 50 words per minute with high accuracy.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to data integrity.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in data entry, administrative support, or a related role.
