Job Description

DHL Global Forwarding is seeking a motivated Virtual Customs & Trade Assistant to join our remote team. This is an entry-level opportunity designed for individuals eager to learn the intricacies of customs regulations, import/export procedures, and global supply chain operations. Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with the preparation and submission of customs documentation, including declarations and permits.
  • Support the team in verifying compliance with international trade regulations and tariffs.
  • Maintain accurate records of customs entries and related correspondence.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, customs officials, and internal departments regarding shipment status and documentation requirements.
  • Research and stay updated on changes in customs laws and trade agreements.
  • Process and organize customs-related invoices and financial records.
  • Utilize various customs software and internal systems to manage trade data.
  • Provide administrative support to the customs and trade department as needed.
