Key Responsibilities
- Execute detailed test plans for unreleased Electronic Arts games across multiple platforms (PC, console, mobile).
- Identify, document, and report bugs, glitches, and other issues with clear, concise, and reproducible steps.
- Provide constructive feedback on gameplay, user experience, game balance, and overall enjoyability.
- Collaborate remotely with development teams to ensure identified issues are understood and addressed.
- Participate in online discussions and feedback sessions with other testers and project leads.
- Maintain confidentiality regarding all unreleased game content and project details.
- Ensure timely completion of assigned testing tasks and adherence to testing schedules.
Required Skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong observational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English for bug reporting and feedback.
- Strong passion for video games and familiarity with various genres and platforms.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote environment.
- Basic computer proficiency and comfort with online collaboration tools.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to identify patterns and potential issues.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in beta testing, quality assurance, or game development.
- Familiarity with bug tracking software (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla).
- Knowledge of game design principles and user experience best practices.
- Experience playing Electronic Arts titles across different franchises.
- Ability to troubleshoot basic technical issues related to gaming hardware or software.
