Job Description
Join the UPS team as a Seasonal Sorter for our upcoming peak season! We are looking for dedicated individuals to help us sort and process packages during our busy morning and night shifts. This is a critical role that ensures packages are moved efficiently and accurately through our system, reaching their destinations on time. This temporary position offers competitive pay, flexible scheduling options, and a fast-paced work environment. No prior experience is necessary – we provide comprehensive training!
Key Responsibilities
- Load and unload packages from vehicles, conveyors, and sortation equipment.
- Scan packages accurately using handheld devices.
- Sort packages into correct designated areas based on postal codes, destinations, and other sorting categories.
- Lift, push, pull, and move packages weighing up to 70 pounds (without assistance).
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.
- Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment to meet daily deadlines.
