Job Description
As a Logistics Coordinator with a Supply Chain focus at Teleperformance, you will play a pivotal role in managing and optimizing the flow of goods and information across our clients’ supply chains. This 100% remote position requires a proactive individual with strong organizational skills and an understanding of logistics operations. You will be responsible for ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery, tracking shipments, coordinating with vendors and carriers, and identifying areas for process improvement. This role is critical in maintaining the efficiency and effectiveness of our clients’ global supply chains, contributing directly to their operational success.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and monitor supply chain operations, ensuring efficient and timely delivery of goods.
- Track and trace shipments, providing regular updates to stakeholders.
- Liaise with suppliers, manufacturers, retailers, and consumers to optimize logistics processes.
- Resolve issues related to shipping discrepancies, delays, or damaged goods promptly and effectively.
- Prepare and process shipping documentation, including invoices, purchase orders, and customs forms.
- Analyze logistics data to identify and implement cost-saving opportunities and efficiency improvements.
- Maintain accurate records of all logistics activities and inventory levels.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure seamless supply chain execution and customer satisfaction.
Required Skills
- Proven experience (3+ years) as a Logistics Coordinator or in a similar supply chain role.
- Strong understanding of logistics principles and supply chain management.
- Proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel) for data analysis and reporting.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced, remote environment.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities with keen attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience with international shipping regulations and customs procedures.
- Certification in supply chain or logistics (e.g., CSCP, CPIM).
- Familiarity with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, such as SAP or Oracle.
