Job Description
We are seeking a meticulous and enthusiastic Data Entry Specialist with a strong focus on sports statistics to join our EA Sports team in Henderson, Nevada. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately inputting, verifying, and maintaining a high volume of sports-related data, ensuring the integrity and reliability of information used across various EA Sports titles and internal systems. Your work will directly contribute to the authenticity and realism of our games, providing players with accurate and up-to-date statistical information. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a passion for sports, and excellent organizational skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately input and verify a wide range of sports statistics, player data, team information, and historical records into designated databases.
- Monitor sports events and official sources to gather relevant statistical information in real-time or post-event.
- Perform regular data quality checks, identify discrepancies, and correct errors promptly to maintain data integrity.
- Organize and maintain digital files and records in an orderly and accessible manner.
- Collaborate with game development and analytics teams to understand data requirements and ensure timely delivery.
- Assist in the creation and maintenance of data entry guidelines and best practices.
- Handle confidential information with discretion and adhere to data security protocols.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in data entry with a high level of accuracy and speed.
- Strong understanding and passion for various sports (e.g., football, basketball, soccer, hockey) and their statistics.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word) and database software.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
