Key Responsibilities
- Actively participate in classroom instruction and practical driving exercises.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies during training.
- Practice and master vehicle pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
- Learn and apply Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and hours of service rules.
- Maintain accurate training records and logs as required.
- Successfully pass the Class A CDL written and driving examinations.
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to learning and professional development.
Required Skills
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to pass a DOT physical and drug screen.
- Strong work ethic and a commitment to safety.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States.
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Prior experience in a physically demanding role.
- Basic mechanical aptitude.
