Job Description

We are seeking dedicated and professional Sprinter Van Owner Operators to join our expedited freight network. As an independent contractor, you will operate your own Sprinter van, specializing in time-critical and sensitive shipments. Key Responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain a Sprinter van in compliance with all DOT regulations and company standards.
  • Safely and efficiently transport time-critical and high-value freight across designated routes.
  • Adhere to strict delivery schedules and communicate any potential delays promptly.
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, ensuring vehicle readiness and safety.
  • Maintain accurate logbooks, delivery records, and all required documentation.
  • Provide exceptional customer service during pickups and deliveries.
  • Manage business operations, including fuel, maintenance, and other operating costs.

Required Skills

  • Valid Class C (or equivalent) driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Minimum 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
  • Owner of a DOT-compliant Sprinter van (or similar cargo van) in excellent condition.
  • Strong commitment to safety and adherence to all traffic laws.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to operate independently and make sound decisions on the road.
  • Proficiency with ELD devices and basic navigation systems.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with expedited or critical freight services.
  • Business acumen and experience managing independent contractor operations.
  • Knowledge of temperature-controlled freight requirements (if applicable).
  • Familiarity with FedEx Custom Critical operational procedures.
  • Hazmat endorsement (preferred, not required initially).
