Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated ServiceNow Consultant to join our dynamic team in Peterborough. As a ServiceNow Consultant, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and optimizing ServiceNow solutions for our diverse client base. You will work closely with clients to understand their business requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and configure the ServiceNow platform to meet those needs. This role requires a strong understanding of the ServiceNow platform, its various modules, and best practices for ITSM, ITBM, ITOM, and other related processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and participate in client workshops to gather and analyze business requirements.
  • Design and architect comprehensive ServiceNow solutions tailored to client needs.
  • Configure and customize ServiceNow modules including ITSM, ITOM, ITBM, HRSD, and CSM.
  • Develop and implement integrations between ServiceNow and other enterprise systems.
  • Conduct testing, debugging, and quality assurance activities.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance on ServiceNow best practices and platform capabilities.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and user manuals.
  • Support client training and knowledge transfer sessions.
  • Collaborate with project managers, technical leads, and other team members to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Stay updated with the latest ServiceNow features and industry trends.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience as a ServiceNow Consultant or Developer.
  • In-depth knowledge of ServiceNow platform architecture and modules (ITSM, ITOM, ITBM).
  • Proficiency in JavaScript, GlideScript, HTML, CSS, and other web technologies relevant to ServiceNow development.
  • Experience with ServiceNow integrations (REST, SOAP, ODBC).
  • Strong understanding of ITIL framework and processes.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) in one or more modules (e.g., ITSM, HRSD, CSM).
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Familiarity with other cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Previous experience in a client-facing consulting role.
