Job Description
Rancho Solano Preparatory School is seeking an exceptional and visionary School Principal/Headmaster to lead our institution into its next phase of growth and academic distinction. This critical leadership role requires an individual with a proven track record in educational administration, curriculum development, and community engagement. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all operational and academic aspects of the school, fostering a culture of excellence among students and staff, and upholding the school’s mission and values. Key Responsibilities
- Provide dynamic and visionary leadership to all faculty, staff, and students.
- Oversee the development, implementation, and evaluation of all academic programs and extracurricular activities.
- Manage school operations, including budget, facilities, and personnel.
- Foster a positive and inclusive school culture that promotes student well-being and academic achievement.
- Recruit, hire, mentor, and evaluate highly qualified faculty and staff.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with students, parents, staff, and the wider community.
- Ensure compliance with all educational regulations and accreditation standards.
- Lead strategic planning initiatives to advance the school's mission and goals.
- Manage student disciplinary actions and promote a safe and orderly learning environment.
Required Skills
- Master's degree in Educational Leadership, Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in educational leadership roles, including at least 5 years as a Principal or Headmaster.
- Demonstrated success in curriculum development and instructional improvement.
- Strong financial management and operational oversight skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and public speaking abilities.
- Proven ability to inspire and lead a diverse team of educators.
- In-depth knowledge of educational best practices and regulatory requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
- Doctorate in Educational Leadership or related field.
- Experience in an independent or private school setting.
- Familiarity with international baccalaureate or similar rigorous academic frameworks.
- Experience with fundraising and community development initiatives.
- Bilingual proficiency.
