Job Description
We are seeking a highly creative and detail-oriented Pinterest Infographic Designer to join our dynamic digital content team. In this role, you will be responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and producing compelling infographics and visual content specifically optimized for Pinterest. You will transform complex data and information from our diverse range of editorial content into easily digestible, shareable, and visually appealing pins that drive engagement and traffic. The ideal candidate will have a strong portfolio showcasing expertise in data visualization, graphic design, and a deep understanding of Pinterest’s best practices and aesthetic.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop high-quality, engaging infographics and visual content tailored for Pinterest, aligned with brand guidelines and editorial objectives.
- Collaborate closely with content strategists, editors, and SEO specialists to identify data-rich content suitable for visual storytelling.
- Translate complex data, statistics, and information into clear, concise, and visually appealing infographic designs.
- Ensure all designs are optimized for Pinterest's algorithm and user experience, driving maximum reach and engagement.
- Stay up-to-date with Pinterest trends, design tools, and visual content best practices to continuously innovate our approach.
- Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, adhering to deadlines and maintaining high standards of quality.
- Iterate on designs based on performance data and feedback to continuously improve visual content effectiveness.
- Maintain an organized library of design assets and templates.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).
- Proven experience in infographic design and data visualization.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating a diverse range of visual content for social media, particularly Pinterest.
- Excellent understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and layout.
- Ability to interpret data and translate it into compelling visual narratives.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Detail-oriented with a keen eye for aesthetics and accuracy.
Preferred Qualifications
