Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Salesforce Administration Intern to join our dynamic team in Carlisle. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in Salesforce CRM administration and training within a global professional services environment. You will work closely with our experienced CRM specialists, learning the intricacies of Salesforce configuration, user support, and data management. This role is ideal for individuals eager to start a career in technology, CRM, or business systems administration.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the day-to-day administration and maintenance of Salesforce CRM platform.
- Support in creating and updating user training materials and documentation for Salesforce features.
- Help resolve basic user inquiries and provide first-level support for Salesforce-related issues.
- Participate in data entry, data cleansing, and data integrity checks within Salesforce.
- Shadow senior administrators on more complex configuration tasks, such as creating custom objects, fields, and workflows.
- Learn about reporting and dashboard creation to track key CRM metrics.
- Contribute to special projects aimed at improving Salesforce utilization and user adoption.
- Collaborate with various teams to understand their CRM needs and provide support accordingly.
Required Skills
- Strong interest in technology and CRM systems, particularly Salesforce.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proactive and eager to learn new technologies and processes.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a degree program in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of database concepts or cloud-based applications.
- Prior exposure to any CRM system (even personal use) is a plus.
- Certification in Salesforce (e.g., Salesforce Administrator Certification) is a strong advantage.
