Job Description
CVS Health is seeking meticulous and reliable individuals to join our team as a Pharmacy Secret Shopper. In this crucial part-time role, you will evaluate the quality of service, adherence to clinical protocols, and overall customer experience within our pharmacy locations in the Birmingham area. Your observations will provide valuable insights to ensure our pharmacies consistently meet the highest standards of patient care and operational excellence. This role requires exceptional attention to detail, strong observational skills, and the ability to accurately document findings in a clinical context.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct unannounced visits to assigned CVS Pharmacy locations within the Birmingham region.
- Interact with pharmacy staff in a typical patient scenario, evaluating customer service, professionalism, and adherence to established protocols.
- Assess the efficiency of prescription filling processes, medication counseling, and patient privacy practices.
- Observe the cleanliness, organization, and overall clinical environment of the pharmacy.
- Evaluate staff knowledge and compliance with specific clinical guidelines and company policies.
- Accurately record detailed observations, interactions, and experiences using a standardized reporting system within 24 hours of each visit.
- Provide objective, constructive feedback to help improve service quality and clinical standards.
- Maintain strict confidentiality regarding all observations and assignment details.
Required Skills
- Exceptional observational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong written communication skills for clear and concise reporting.
- Ability to maintain objectivity and provide unbiased feedback.
- Discretion and ability to work independently without supervision.
- Proficiency with basic computer applications for data entry and reporting.
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to various pharmacy locations in Birmingham.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in secret shopping or quality assurance roles.
- Familiarity with pharmacy operations or healthcare environments.
- Background in customer service or a related field.
- High school diploma or equivalent; some college coursework preferred.
