Job Description

As a Remote Audio Advocate at Sonos, you will be the frontline of our customer experience, providing world-class support for our innovative audio products. This is a 100% remote position, allowing you to work from the comfort of your home while making a significant impact. You will empower our customers to get the most out of their Sonos systems by resolving technical issues, answering product inquiries, and guiding them through setup and advanced features, all with a focus on enhancing their listening journey. We are looking for individuals who are passionate about sound, empathetic, and possess excellent problem-solving skills to ensure every Sonos user has an exceptional experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer support via phone, email, and chat for Sonos products and services.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues related to wireless connectivity, audio performance, and system configuration.
  • Educate customers on product features, setup procedures, and best practices to optimize their listening experience.
  • Document all customer interactions and resolutions accurately in our CRM system.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to escalate complex issues and provide feedback for product improvement.
  • Stay up-to-date with new product releases, software updates, and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction through professional and courteous service.

Required Skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
  • A genuine passion for audio technology and music.
  • Basic technical aptitude for troubleshooting software and hardware.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote environment.
  • High level of empathy and patience when dealing with customer inquiries.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a customer service or technical support role, preferably in consumer electronics.
  • Familiarity with Sonos products or similar wireless audio systems.
  • Experience with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, Zendesk).
  • Multilingual abilities are a plus.
