Job Description
Accenture is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Remote Apple Compliance Officer to join our dynamic team. This critical role focuses on ensuring our clients’ Apple-related technologies and services adhere to all relevant local, national, and international regulatory requirements. You will work closely with legal, IT, and business teams to develop, implement, and monitor compliance programs that align with industry best practices and evolving regulatory landscapes, with a specific focus on the Apple ecosystem. We are looking for a proactive individual with a keen eye for detail and a strong understanding of regulatory frameworks impacting technology and data privacy. Your expertise will be vital in mitigating risks, fostering a culture of compliance, and ensuring our operations are robust and resilient. This position is 100% remote.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive research on existing and emerging regulatory requirements relevant to Apple technologies (e.g., iOS, macOS, Apple Services).
- Develop, implement, and maintain compliance policies, procedures, and controls for Apple-centric environments.
- Perform regular risk assessments and internal audits to identify potential compliance gaps and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Collaborate with legal, IT, security, and business units to integrate compliance requirements into system design, product development, and operational processes.
- Support external audits and regulatory inquiries, providing necessary documentation and explanations.
- Develop and deliver training programs to ensure all relevant staff are aware of their compliance obligations regarding Apple technologies.
- Monitor and report on compliance performance metrics to leadership.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, technological advancements, and changes in regulatory frameworks affecting Apple's ecosystem.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in regulatory compliance, legal, or audit roles with a focus on technology.
- In-depth understanding of global data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) and cybersecurity frameworks.
- Familiarity with the Apple ecosystem (iOS, macOS, MDM solutions, Apple Business Manager/School Manager) and its associated compliance considerations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex legal and regulatory texts.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of articulating complex compliance issues to diverse audiences.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Law, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Relevant professional certifications (e.g., CCEP, CIPP/US, CIPP/E, CISSP).
- Experience with Mobile Device Management (MDM) platforms and their compliance implications.
- Previous experience working with a global consulting firm or a large enterprise with significant Apple device deployment.
- Project management experience in compliance-related initiatives.
