Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Remote Apple API Integration Specialist to join our dynamic engineering team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust integrations with various Apple APIs. This position requires deep expertise in the Apple ecosystem, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for building seamless, secure, and high-performance solutions for both internal tools and client-facing applications. You will work within a tech startup-focused environment, contributing to innovative projects that leverage the latest Apple technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement secure and scalable integrations with a wide range of Apple APIs (e.g., Apple Pay, Sign in with Apple, HealthKit, Wallet, App Store Connect APIs, MDM APIs).
- Collaborate closely with product managers, UX/UI designers, and other engineering teams to define integration requirements and deliver impactful features.
- Ensure the performance, reliability, and security of all Apple API integrations.
- Perform code reviews, troubleshoot complex issues, and optimize existing integrations for efficiency and maintainability.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest Apple technologies, SDKs, and API changes, proactively recommending and implementing best practices.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for all integrations.
- Contribute to the overall architecture and technical strategy for mobile and API-driven solutions.
Required Skills
- Strong proficiency in Swift and Objective-C, with a deep understanding of iOS/macOS development.
- Extensive experience integrating with various Apple APIs and frameworks (e.g., UIKit, Foundation, StoreKit, PassKit, HealthKit, Security Frameworks).
- Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, JSON, and network protocols.
- Experience with secure coding practices and data encryption within the Apple ecosystem.
- Proficiency with version control systems, particularly Git.
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with other mobile platforms (Android) and cross-platform development frameworks.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Knowledge of microservices architecture and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience working in a fast-paced tech startup, cybersecurity, or fintech environment.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
